Come and share something about yourself that you would like others to know about! That’s right, here’s an opportunity for you to SHOW us an object (for instance, think of a basketball or object used in another hobby, a musical instrument, a photograph, a toy, an award or trophy) and TELL us about the object’s significance to your life. Or mementos that carried you through 2020 and you would save to tell your story.

Monique Chambers, SWNA Scholarship recipient from 2018-2020 has cast, directed and video edited a Christmas play with the support of BREAD-FOR-THE-SOUL, SWNA and Westminster Presbyterian Church. In 2018, her scholarship was funded by Friends of Southwest DC.

The Fall 2020 Winner of the $3,000 Stadium District College Fund Scholarship was Anika Richard
The Stadium District College Fund is available each fall to teens and young adults (age 12-24) who reside in Southwest Washington, DC Advisory Neighborhood Commission (ANC) Single Member District (SMD) 6D06, demonstrate financial need, and have a specific use for the funds that relates to education, training, sports, arts, or activities to further their skill or job training.
